Here are common questions about Kimi API billing and finance.

How is Kimi API charged?

Kimi API is billed based on token usage, with input tokens and output tokens priced separately. Prices vary by model, and online search costs an additional ¥0.03 per request. For detailed pricing, see platform.kimi.com/docs/pricing/chat.

Can I top up with WeCom or Alipay?

The API console supports the following top-up methods:

  • Alipay: Pay by scanning a QR code or by logging in to your Alipay account.
  • WeChat Pay: Pay by scanning a QR code.
  • Corporate bank transfer: Enterprise-verified users can apply to top up via corporate bank transfer. Contact the sales team for the corporate account details.

After you top up, the balance is credited in real time and can be used for API calls immediately.

How do I request an invoice?

  1. Log in to the Kimi Open Platform console and go to “Billing → Invoice Management”.
  2. Select the top-up records you want invoiced, fill in the invoice information (individual/enterprise), and submit the request.
  3. The electronic invoice will be sent to the email address you provide.

Supported invoice types:

  • Individual ordinary electronic invoice
  • Enterprise ordinary electronic invoice
  • Enterprise special VAT invoice (enterprise verification required)

Invoice notes:

  • The platform supports issuing invoices based on the consumed amount or the topped-up amount.
  • Individual verification supports invoices with an individual or a company title; enterprise verification only supports invoices with the verified enterprise entity’s title.
  • The invoicing entity is 北京月之暗面科技有限公司; the invoice item name is “技术服务费”, under the tax classification abbreviation “生产生活服务”, with a tax rate of 6%. The invoice face displays *生产生活服务*技术服务费.
