Billing rules

Deep Research also distinguishes between “regular chat” and “task execution”. Once you select a Deep Research task, billing follows the task type.

• Billing method: After you select a Deep Research task, credit is deducted based on the task’s actual token usage. Deep Research and other membership features share one credit pool; Kimi Code uses a separate credit pool.
• Refunds for failed tasks: If a task fails to run successfully and does not return a valid result, no credit will be deducted for token usage.

How to check your remaining credit

Go to Me → Manage → Subscription to view the Token credit usage for your current membership account.
