Deep Research stuck or not returning results

Page stuck or progress not updating

What should you do if Deep Research gets stuck or never returns a result? Deep Research performs extensive web searches, source verification, and reasoning. If the interface does not refresh promptly, it does not necessarily mean the task has stopped. You can try the following:

  1. Refresh the browser page;
  2. Leave the current conversation temporarily (this will not affect the task);
  3. Come back later to check. The task will continue running in the background.

If there is still no result after refreshing, check whether your network connection is stable, then wait a little longer.

Deep Research usually takes 10–25 minutes. You can leave the page while it is running; the task will continue asynchronously in the background, and you will receive a notification when it is complete. If the page displays abnormally, refresh the page and do not click “Stop generating”.
