Difference between adaptive and visual
Kimi Slides offers two generation modes. Choose the one that best fits your needs:
Adaptive mode
Kimi intelligently designs the layout and styling. The AI automatically matches colors, fonts, icons, and chart styles to your content, with support for multiple style presets (business, academic, tech, minimalist, etc.). Ideal for scenarios that demand a unique visual identity and personalized presentation.
Visual mode
Select a template from the pre-built library. Powered by Nano Banana Pro, Visual mode is perfect for producing presentations quickly. Templates span business, education, tech, and more. Once you choose a template, Kimi automatically fills in your content and generates a finished deck.
How to Choose a Scenario and Template
Adaptive mode offers multiple scenario options including academic research, business insights, and marketing & promotion, helping you generate presentations that better match your actual use case.
- Each scenario comes with preset templates. Selecting a specific template generates a presentation in that template's style.
- To use a custom template, simply upload a PPTX file and describe your generation requirements—no need to select a specific scenario or official preset template.
