Not responding or slow?

If Kimi Claw isn't replying or is unusually slow, there are several possible causes. Follow the troubleshooting path below.

Common causes

Cause	Description
Bridge disconnect	The connection between Kimi Claw and the server has dropped; the gateway needs a restart
Resource busy	Server load is high; responses may be delayed
Instance offline	The Kimi Claw instance has gone offline and needs to be repaired

Work through these steps in order until the issue is resolved:

Send another message — Sometimes it's just a momentary delay; a follow-up message can trigger a response
Refresh the page — Close and reopen the Kimi Claw conversation
Restart the gateway — Go to Settings and click Restart Kimi Claw. Wait for it to come back online
Auto-repair — In Settings, click Repair Kimi Claw. The system will detect and fix configuration issues automatically
Restore initial settings — If nothing else works, select Restore Initial Settings in Settings

This resets Kimi Claw to its factory state, but:

Preserved: Workspace files and long-term Memory
Needs reconfiguration: Chat platform connections (Telegram, etc.) must be set up again
