Which installer should I download?
There are two macOS installers: the Apple Silicon build for Macs with M-series chips, and the Intel build for Intel-based Macs. Check your chip in the Apple menu under About This Mac. Windows users should download the Windows installer.
Why can't I use the official Kimi models?
Official models require signing in with a Kimi account, and accounts without a Kimi membership cannot use the official models directly; available models also vary by membership plan. Open the membership entry from the account area to review plans, and see Membership Benefits and Model Configuration. Alternatively, you can connect a third-party model provider.
What if a third-party model does not work?
Open the Model Providers area in Settings and check that the API key, base URL, and model information are correct. Save the configuration, switch to the model in the Composer, and send a read-only task to confirm it works. For the complete setup steps, see Connect a third-party model provider.
Why can't I send a message?
An empty session must have a workspace before you can send a message. Click the folder name above the Composer to choose a recent folder or add a new workspace, then send your message. For other ways to add a workspace, see Workspace management.
