Plan changes
You can adjust your Kimi membership at any time. Here's how upgrades and downgrades work.
How to calculate upgrade price?
Upgrades will be prorated and any unused portion of your current plan will be refunded.
| Item | Description |
|---|---|
| Effective | Upgrade takes effect immediately, new credit allotment available right away |
| Credits | Credits already used under the old plan don't affect the new plan's balance — you receive a fresh allocation |
Want to upgrade/downgrade?
Upgrading
- Visit Kimi.com and click your avatar (bottom left)
- Choose your preferred plan and complete the payment
- The system calculates the prorated difference, processes payment, and activates the new plan instantly
Downgrading
Downgrades can't be applied mid-cycle.
- Cancel your current subscription (see Cancel Subscription)
- Continue using your current plan until it expires
- Once expired, subscribe to the lower-tier plan of your choice
Can't upgrade?
If the upgrade option isn't available or the process fails:

| Subscribed via Apple App Store or Google Play | Manage your subscription through that platform's settings |
| Payment method issue | Verify your saved payment method is valid and has sufficient funds |
| System error | Try signing out and back in |
